Benq wants slice of the netbook market

BenQ today launched its first Netbook to the Brazilian market. This is the Joybook Lite U102 goes on sale it for $ 1,199 (starting price).
The Joybook has Intel Atom processor, screen with backlight LED 10.1 “with 1024 × 600 resolution, 160GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, a card reader 4 in 1, a 1.3 MP webcam and weighs about 1kg. Among their connections, are the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi broadband G. In addition, the product has an optional 3G modem.

The U102 is manufactured in China and can be found primarily in the distributor Mazner. Other distributors (see list here) sell the product from the next week, the company said.
